http://www.lyricsmania.com/lyrics/smoke_or_fire_lyrics_12554/this_sinking_ship_lyrics_39816/melatonin_lyrics_431757.htmlI love this song because it's something that i can identify with. It talks about a feeling of being upset that never goes away and thats something that i can really understand. whether it's because of physical/emotional problems or just from looking around and seeing what's happening in the world being depressed seems reasonable. Anti-depressants are the most comonly perscribed drugs in America today. "all we can do these days is medicate ourselves to feel sane."
I also love it because it clearly states that its the individual who has the problem it's the rest of the world. I'm happy with the way things are for me. It's everyone else that has the problem.
I think people might have a problem with the revolutionary tone "we'd rather burn this to the ground then give it away to the world". Also i've realized that some people seem to see the takeing of medication to be a flaw. They look at it as if people who take it really could fix their problem themself but are just too lazy or even that they just want the attention. so maybe that could be an issue
